Always a reliable choice

This was our third visit to Knockhatch, and it was just as good as the last two times. We always get the annual pass because we come so often. The cannon arena is still a favourite with my son, and my daughter loves the wallaby walkabout. Everything was well-maintained, as usual. We've tried other places like Fishers Farm, but we keep coming back here because it's consistently a good experience. No surprises, which is what you want with kids.

Good value, some minor issues

We visited Knockhatch for the first time and overall it was a pretty good day out for the kids. The online booking discount for our day entry tickets made it feel like decent value. The Lost World Playbarn was a huge hit, keeping them busy for ages. However, a couple of the smaller rides had longer queues than expected, and the park cafe food was a bit pricey for what it was. Customer service at the entrance was quick and friendly, though. It's a solid choice for a family day, but maybe pack your own picnic.

Fantastic day out, loved it!

We had the BEST time at Knockhatch! My kids absolutely loved the Dragon Castle and the Wave Runner was so much fun. Seriously, what a great place for families. We booked the family ticket online and saved a bit, which was nice. Will definitely be back next year!

Fun day with the little ones

Just took my two little ones to Knockhatch last week. Got the toddler and parent deal, which was super convenient. They had a blast in Froggies Soft Play and loved seeing the animals in the petting farm. The staff were pretty chill, just let the kids do their thing. It was a good vibe for a Tuesday, not too crowded. We'll probably go again.

Thinking of taking the kids to Knockhatch. Is it worth paying the gate price or should I book online?

W William Perez 3 days ago
Definitely book online if you can! You usually save a decent amount, like 10-15% on the tickets, especially for family passes.

Yeah, I always pre-book. It's usually cheaper and means you don't have to queue as long when you get there.

Comparing Knockhatch to Drusillas. Anyone been to both and have a preference for younger kids (under 5)?

K Kevin Garcia 5 days ago
Knockhatch is really good for toddlers, especially with Froggies Soft Play and the petting farm. Drusillas is great too but maybe a bit more spread out.

Both are fun! Knockhatch has a lot of indoor stuff if the weather is iffy, which is a big plus for little ones. Drusillas has more exotic animals though.

Do I need to print my tickets or can I just show them on my phone?

I just showed mine on my phone when I went last summer. They just scanned the QR code.

Digital tickets are fine. Never had an issue showing them on my phone at the entrance.
